In addition to offering scheduled escorted trips, we tailor-make bespoke programs for small groups of friends, family and colleagues.

At Destinations by Design, we don’t equate expertise with a large raft of itineraries and destinations. The tours we offer represent the best of each country and will suit a variety of interests. Many travellers looking for a more extensive trip can choose to combine two – or more – of our designer destinations. Each trip is paced to give you time to develop a real appreciation of the places we visit. We often stay two or three nights in an area, preferring to explore places in some depth rather than constantly moving at the expense of your experience.

Our tour leaders have travelled extensively within our destinations and have an intimate understanding of the country, the culture and the geography. We have forged close relationships and understanding with our local guides ensuring that the journey is more than the travelling alone.

- Safe, hassle free travel in small intimate groups
Group size matters and with us, less is more! Small group travel allows for flexibility and informality, which is why our journeys typically will only have 6-8 people. Because our groups are small, we’re able to accommodate the interests of our travellers while allowing plenty of opportunities for independent exploration.
We do not operate coach tours. With us, you are never herded or led with an umbrella in the air through the tourist hotspots. Your travel experience will be, in equal parts, what we do for you and what you do for yourself. We believe in being travellers rather than tourists.
