Destination Madagascar
Madagascar is one of those destinations that conjure up a thousand images just upon hearing the name. The little-known, exotic island is filled with weird and wonderful flora and fauna, the major drawcard being the endemic lemur. Madagascar’s natural beauty is certainly inspiring, with rolling tiers of paddy fields with speckled mud houses and expansive tropical rainforests.
Trek beneath lush jungle canopies in search of the bright chestnut-coloured Diademed Sifaka, the most handsome of the lemur family. Wake to the eerie wail of the bear-like Indri, at almost a metre tall, the country’s largest lemur.
